Materials
High Density Polyethylene - HDPE
Cubis’ MONObox™ plastic pits are manufactured by a rotational moulding process using black ultra violet light stabilised high density polyethylene material and have been developed in partnership with industry and major authorities to ensure they meet the stringent requirements for installation and long-term use.

Load Rating
Our MONObox™ plastic pits are manufactured to a Class A load rating (ultimate limit state design load of 10kN) under the Australian Standard AS/NZ 3996.
Pits can be rated up to Class B when installed in the ground and backfilled with crushed rock or stabilised sand with internal PVC pipe support. A range of covers up to Class B are available to match each plastic pit depending on the load rating required.

GMS Covers
Hinged galvanised mild steel (GMS) access covers designed and manufactured for up to a Class D load rating to suit various industry sector applications.
Cast Iron Covers
