Superior Design that Meets AU standard
Our Aus Pits™ precast concrete tradewaste pits are designed and built for up to a Class D load rating, meeting the Australian standard AS/NZ 3996. We also use minimum 40MPa concrete to ensure robustness and superior asset protection.

Materials
40MPa fibre reinforced concrete
High strength concrete has a compressive strength of 40MPa or greater. Cubis manufactures their Aus Pits™ precast concrete tradewaste pits using fibre reinforced concrete mix to ensure a minimum of 40MPa. This ensures that the pits remain durable and robust throughout their lifetime.

Load Rating
Cubis Systems’ Aus Pits™ custom precast concrete pits are manufactured up to a Class G load rating (ultimate limit state design of 900 kN) under the standard the Australian Standard AS/NZ 3996. This makes our custom precast concrete pits suitable for docks, wharves and airport runways.
We have also gone further to match the load rating of the pit to its cover, which is why our pits offer the most superior solutions on the market. This design element provides long term confidence in the quality and endurance of the product.

Locking Covers
Cubis has a variety of lockable covers in their access cover range to ensure the utmost protection for your valuable assets.
Our lockable covers come in a variety of materials including galvanised mild steel, cast iron and composite.
Pit Lifters
Cubis' pit lifters provide fast and safe access for authorised maintenance works inside Cubis access pit systems.
Conductive Concrete
Conductive concrete is a cementitious and carbonaceous material which is a proven solution in the prevention of infrastructural conductivity grounding difficulties, speeding up and improving the performance of cabinet earthing.
